Heritage Open mHealth Challenge
The Open mHealth just launched a $100,000 challenge with the Heritage Provider Network and UCLA to encourage patients and clinicians to combine applications and devices to create more integrated, personalized health solutions. This challenge is unique because:
1. Teams must have at least one person with clinical expertise, and one target user (e.g., a patient) - this has never been done before in an mHealth challenge.
2. Teams must use the Open mHealth architecture for at least some of their data integration. This means that all participants will be contributing to and advancing the Open mHealth ecosystem, even if they don't win the contest.
